Buy Tickets Online

Your favorite artist or band is holding a major concert in your area, and you’re ecstatic to see them perform live! It’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance that should be well worth it despite the high cost of concert tickets. You’re already making arrangements: you find friends or a gorgeous date to watch it with, or maybe you plan to go with your partner or spouse; you clear your schedule and possibly cancel or reschedule important office or business engagements, and you search for the best ticket sources online, in the newspapers, or ask around.

I know the feeling. I’ve done just like everyone else and camped out for the best seats and wasted a lot of time trying to get tickets the hard way. That’s why I’ve compiled a list of some helpful tips to assure you buy the best concert tickets available.

1. Depending on how popular the artist is, tickets can sell out FAST. Therefore, it’s important for you to buy tickets ahead of time. A month ahead is usually ideal so you can still secure the best seats.

2. Find out the venue and if it’s familiar so you’ll know where the best seating locations are. Prices may naturally soar high if you’re aiming for seats in the first few rows, but part of the experience will determine where exactly your prime location would be to enjoy this once (or twice) in a lifetime event.

3. Do not just buy from the first site or vendor you find. Compare prices. Shop around. Finding the best deal means doing research.

4. Group rates can often be cheaper than individual tickets so find out who else is going to attend the event you are interested in. Search around for a group or bulk rate and see if it does not average out to be a better rate for everyone involved.

5. Look for the concert ticket broker. This is usually the best ticket seller you’ll find. The broker can provide a seating chart and availability, and if you’re purchasing 10 or more tickets you can ask for a discount that is normally not offered at ticket box offices. Ticket brokers who are reputable do not charge extra fees, so it is valuable to make friendships or social connections with a ticket broker. Once you find one, having a ticket broker as a friend can provide many advantages: he can give you the best seats, provide the best deal with better discounts, and inform you far ahead of the normal promotions if your favorite band is confirmed to hold a concert in your area.

6. Be prepared for anything. If a friend backs out at the last minute, they may feel like they shouldn’t have to pay for a ticket they are not going to use. Make sure everyone is aware that if you buy the tickets, you must be reimbursed for them no matter what.

7. Avoid purchasing tickets from scalpers near the concert. Since it is illegal, you cannot make a complaint to anyone if the tickets you purchase turn out to be invalid for entry.

If you are looking to buy concert tickets online, do not be fooled by fake ticket vendors. Browse through the largest selection of tickets online and get a great deal on your next venue!
